Discuss moving to ProtonThree situations in which information confidentiality became a priority for management.
Proton Workspace
Anonymised client experienceA pharmaceutical manufacturer was preparing for a sale. The asset inventory brought an essential part of the company’s value to the fore: the know-how and information built up over time, held largely in emails and shared documents.
Protecting this information became a priority for management. The company chose to implement Proton to improve the confidentiality of its correspondence and documents.
The case illustrates a decision to protect the information that underpins a business’s value, ahead of an important moment for the company.
Proton Workspace
Anonymised client experienceAt a rolling stock repair plant, management noticed that several tenders were being lost by very small margins. It was later discovered that the company president’s messages were being forwarded to an external email address.
The discovery brought the confidentiality of correspondence into focus. The company chose to move to Proton Workspace to protect its communication.
In this case, the reason for the change was the exposure of business information through email.
Proton Workspace
Anonymised client experienceAt a transport company, the finance department received payment requests in the name of the general manager, whose correspondence was being monitored. The team acted on the requests and the payments were made.
The incident showed the company that exposure of management’s correspondence can have direct consequences for financial processes. The company subsequently chose to move to Proton to protect its communications.
